Biography
Manal Habbal has been with The Ohio State University since she started as an undergraduate student, going on to obtain her masters and later a PhD in Foreign, Second, and Multilingual language Education. She joined the IELP program in 2011, teaching in the American Language Program (ALP) first and joining the Academic English Writing Program (AEWP) soon after. Her experience includes teaching undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral writing courses. In addition to teaching at Ohio State, Manal has taught at Rutgers University, NJ and at the Lebanese International University, Lebanon. Traveling and moving to the United States at an early age has helped shape Manal’s multicultural personality and inspired her interest in teaching international students and helping them adapt to their new environment. She truly enjoys watching students grow, adjust, and become passionate Buckeyes!
